“Cambio de Escena” marks L21’s inaugural exhibition for 2024. The gallery is undergoing transformations, intricately weaving a denser narrative as the evolving piece takes shape.

In this exhibition, a tale unfolds, yet the plot remains undetermined. Nine artists act as both principal players and complementary figures, contributing to the larger picture. Lydia Gifford, Sihan Guo, Erika Hock, Igor Jesus, Valerie Krause, Alejandro Leonhardt, Gizela Mickiewicz, Jordi Ribes and Jenna Westra are set to play vital roles in this artistic journey.

This exhibition is not made in a conventional storytelling venture; instead, it invites viewers to immerse themselves in a dynamic narrative where the plot is an ever-evolving entity. The artists, akin to storytellers, contribute to the larger picture, each piece adding depth and complexity to the unfolding scenario.

Each artwork contributes to a collective whole while remaining a distinct entity in itself.  Yet, collectively, these pieces weave together seamlessly, forming one that transcends the boundaries of individual expression.

This is a show about individuality and collective expression where one can appreciate the beauty that emerges when diverse voices converge in a dialogue of change.
